The Headliner: Google Launches Model Hours before OpenAI

Google recently granted its AI models the ability to access its search engine, just before OpenAI launched a similar search capability for ChatGPT. Talk about… “timely”… 👀 The move marks a significant jump in integrating real-time internet search with AI applications - which some say could have been released by Google much sooner as a significant differentiator for the struggling Gemini (it’s doing alright, but other models are beating it on many metrics). The new features now available from both giants, are still quite exciting since they’re allowing for up-to-the-minute responses + broader information access!
