For those that are new around here, this is weekly newsletter where I highlight new and innovative AI products that are worth exploring.

Hey hey!

Happy Friday! We’re back for another issue.

In this week’s issue:

PRODUCT OF THE WEEK!

After testing dozens of AI products this week. Here’s my report!

Podcast lovers, I've found a gem! If you're anything like me, you love diving deep into podcasts but can't always carve out the hours needed, this week's product of the week does so much for us. It’s an AI-driven powerhouse transforming the way we engage with podcasts. Drumroll please 🥁 This week we're talking about Podwise!

2024 might just be the year Podwise becomes essential for every podcast aficionado. Its promise of convenience and efficiency makes it a top contender in paid media expansions.

“So what does it do, and why is it in my AI Product Report?”

Let me tell you. If you’re subscribed to a recap newsletter, why not “subscribe” to a Podcast recap platform?

You get AI-Generated topic-based mind maps (with timestamps), full transcripts, a full Glossary of keywords mentioned, and even highlights to get those nuggets faster!

Here’s a rundown of your value per 0$ (Potentially up to like 10$ a month at most!)

I’ve been droning on for a while about the wonderful, creative, reuse of existing technologies for new applications, and this is exactly it. From an AI perspective, we can assume this tech has a data processing pipeline that looks something like this:

  1. Podcast audio-to-text (Outputting the transcript)

    • It wouldn’t be a far stretch to consider that there may even be some more advanced solution to intake the podcast metadata (preview excerpt, colloquialisms of the date & time to enrich the quality of the transcription outputs. Which, frankly, would be technically impressive in its own right.

  2. Text-into-everything else: mind map, summary, keywords.

To boot, you can even take some of the coolest snippets you like, and pull them into your Notion notes, or even Readwise. This integration ensures that all your key insights are organized and accessible, making it easier than ever to catch up on your listening queue without missing a beat.

Try it for free! Podwise has got a credit system so you can use this whole podcast powerhouse for free on 4 episodes a month 🤩. If you ration yourselves that’s 1 per week. Let alone the fact that if they don’t already have it parsed and ready for reads, you don’t have to use any of your AI “processing credits”.

As Podwise continues to grow, buckle in, and get ready to experience podcasts like never before, with all the information you need right at your fingertips.

WHAT I'M WATCHING

""The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself."

- Carl Sagan

What I’m watching this week is a very interesting panel discussion on the growth course of AI, and how to guide it towards a democratized beneficial direction, and the inherent global, societal impacts these decisions will have moving forward, once considering the pace of innovation at Tech giants, and more.
“Recorded during the 2024 Abundance360 Summit, A360 AI faculty discuss the future of AI, who will control it, and how it will merge with humans. “

Stay well, and until next week.
