Headliner: Agentic’s Plan to Make ChatGPT the Employee of the Month

ChatGPT Is Done Just Chatting—Agentic Wants It to Actually Work 🤖📡💼
Agentic’s platform turns passive chatbots into full-on digital employees, equipped with "connectors" to take real-world action—think updating records, fetching live data, and even kicking off transactions.
These agents can now choose which tools to use and when, boosting automation while slashing hallucinations. The result? Customized, high-trust AI workers for everything from support to logistics.

THIS WEEK IN RESEARCH

  • We’ve got Agent Memory Advances!
Anthropic drops research on long-range planning and reward mechanisms—more agent smarts incoming. 📄🧩🔗 Read more

  • Here’s the rundown of the paper: Memory in AI agents is currently limited because existing solutions use simple, narrow memory components that prevent them from personalizing, abstracting, or reliably recalling user information over time. To address this, a new system called MIRIX has been developed:

MIRIX is a modular, multi-agent memory system designed to enable language models (LLMs) to genuinely remember. Unlike previous systems, MIRIX goes beyond text to incorporate visual and multimodal experiences, making it more practical for real-world use. MIRIX has been validated in two challenging scenarios:

  • ScreenshotVQA: A multimodal benchmark involving nearly 20,000 high-resolution computer screenshots per sequence. MIRIX achieved 35% higher accuracy than the RAG baseline and reduced storage requirements by 99.9%.

  • LOCOMO: A long-form conversation benchmark with single-modal textual input. MIRIX achieved a state-of-the-art performance of 85.4%, significantly outperforming existing baselines.

A packaged application powered by MIRIX is available, which monitors screens in real-time, builds a personalized memory base, and offers intuitive visualization and secure local storage for privacy.
